摘要 The method involves detecting a defined field of view, generating input images, contrast enhancement, edge and object extraction and generation of output images, combining a group of successive images into a sequence and determining the edge information profile against time, determining the object center of gravity profile, extrapolating and predicting possible paths for comparison with the aircraft's path to detect possible collision situations. The method involves using at least one optical system (11) to detect a defined field of view in the air space, generating input images (21), contrast enhancement and edge and object extraction in an image processing circuit and generation of output images (22), combining a group of successive images with known time intervals into a sequence (30) and determining the edge information profile against time, determining the object center of gravity profile, extrapolating and predicting (40) possible courses for comparison with the course of the aircraft to detect possible collision situations. AN Independent claim is also included for a device for the execution of the collision avoidance method using an optical system.
