The invention relates to a system for controlling and/or regulating the handling characteristics of a motor vehicle with at least two wheels. Said system comprises at least one sensor device (12), which detects a wheel speed of at least two wheels (12), and additionally comprises a data processing device (16) that determines, according to the detected wheel speeds, at least one motion relationship of at least two wheels (10) with regard to one another. According to the invention, the data processing device (16) establishes at least one cornering motion quantity of the vehicle according to the at least one determined motion relationship.
