<p>The invention relates to a method for forming a data communications connection. In the method according to the invention, location data on at least one monitored terminal element, such as a mobile station, is received (103) from the direction of a telecommunications network, after which a display element is commanded (103) to show a graphic model, in which the location of at least one monitored terminal element is shown as an icon. The user of the terminal element controlling the display element is provided with an opportunity to indicate, through an interface connected to the display element, at least one monitored terminal element. After this, a selection signal concerning an icon representing the location of at least one monitored terminal element is received (104) from the direction of the display element, and finally, in response to the selection signal concerning the icon, a data communications connection formation request concerning the identity of the indicated terminal element is sent (105) in the direction of the telecommunications network.</p> |
