ALLOCATION OF AMPLIFICATION STAGES TO PARTICULAR TRANSMISSIONS TO OBTAIN FAVOURABLE THERMAL LOAD DISTRIBUTION

An Energy Managing routine, EM, for a cellular telecommunication system. Information relating to power demands for messages to be transmitted from the system, BSS, by base station transceivers, BTS 1-3, are collected from the systm together with information related to heat generated in power amplification stages. The EM allocates messages to be transmitted to amplification stages in transmitting units with due regard to power distribution among the amplification stages, power dissipation and temperature cycling.
