PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical evaporation apparatus displaying the evaporation time coinciding with the real evaporation time even after the exchange of cartridge, etc. SOLUTION: A battery circuit 11 integrated with a cartridge is detachably attached to a circuit board 5 of the apparatus body with a connector. The battery circuit 11 is composed of an alkali button battery 11a lowering its voltage according to the lapse of time and a discharge resistance 11b. The battery circuit 11 is attached to the apparatus body with the connector 21 and a discharge current is sent from the alkali button battery 11a by closing the power switch 7 of the apparatus body. A table T storing the used battery time vs. battery voltage of the button battery 11a as the used time of the cartridge is preparatorily set in a control IC 5a, the battery voltage is read out by a comparator 5b at the connection of the power source and the used time of the cartridge is obtained from the voltage data by using the table T.
