PURPOSE: A system for providing a store information and an operating method thereof are provided to supply efficient information to a customer by enabling the customer to accurately confirm whether each store situated in the customer's town is opened/closed through the customer's terminal. CONSTITUTION: A network system(100) is operated by a service company. An information transmission unit(200) is equipped in each store. In addition, the information transmission unit(200) transmits information on opening/closing of the stores to the network system(100) of the service company. The network system(100) is composed of an information storing unit(110) and a server network(120). The information storing unit(110) makes a database based on the information and so on. The server network(120) receives a request for providing a service from a customer and collects the information relevant to the request through the information storing unit(110). In addition, the server network(120) transmits the information to the customer. A customer position confirming unit(130) confirms a position of a terminal(300) of the customer. After that, the customer position confirming unit(130) transmits the information on the position to the server network(120).
