PURPOSE: A phone call information storing telephone system by using an IC card and a method for controlling the same are provided to accurately manage telephone use details by individual by recording personal phone call information at an individual IC card, thereby effectively managing the telephone system. CONSTITUTION: A telephone system is in an initial state(S1). The telephone system determines whether an IC card is inserted currently(S2). If inserted, IC card user data are transmitted to a key phone for requesting call use authentication(S3). It is determined whether a call use authentication signal is inputted from the current key phone system(S4). If inputted, an IC card user performs a phone call and the key phone system checks the phone call details for storing phone call information by individual(S5). It is determined whether the user terminates the phone call(S6). If terminated, the telephone system receives phone call information of the IC card checked in the current key phone system and stores information at the IC card(S7).
