METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OVERLOAD OF CALL PROCESSOR

PURPOSE: A method for controlling overload of a call processor is provided to slowly control overload in the case of rapid load change by differentiating a control method in processor load rise and fall, thereby protecting a system. CONSTITUTION: An overload control processor calculated load amount of a call processor every predetermined load measurement period(S110). The overload control processor decides a candidate load grade according to the calculated load amount(S120). It is determined whether the decided candidate load grade is lower than the grade of the previous period by two levels(S140). If not lower, the load grade of the current period is decided to be equal to the candidate load grade(S160). If lower, the load grade of the current period is decided as a lower load grade of load grade of the previous period by one level(S150).
