PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heat transfer to a disk-type storage medium, with respect to the heat generation on the acceleration-deceleration of a spindle motor, which is generated by the repetition of high-speed access in a disk device. SOLUTION: This recording and/or reproducing device for disk-type storage medium is provided with a member 1 to be sucked made of magnetic material which presses a disk-type storage medium 3 onto a turntable 15 and holds the same, a motor which integrally rotates the disk-type storage 3 and the turntable 15, and the composition which has vanes 33 for causing air stream on the member 1 to be sucked and openings 34 for allowing the air stream to flow into the downstream side which are respectively disposed at three places. By disposing grooves 30a, 30b on the surface (bearing surface and fitting surface), which is brought into contact with the disk-type storage medium 3 and forming an air passage, the vanes 33 are rotated by the revolution of the motor, the air stream generated is made to flow from the opening 34 to the downstream side and to flow out through the groove 30b through the groove 30a. As a result, the surface which is brought into contact with the disk-type storage medium, can be effectively cooled, and thereby the heat which is transferred to the disk-type storage medium 3 can be suppressed.
