METHOD FOR FORMING COATING FILM TO WOODEN BASE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a coating film having decreased pitting surfaces (traces of foaming) in a method of forming the coating film by coating the surface of a wooden base material with a powder coating material. SOLUTION: The wooden base material is subjected to idle baking before coating of the powder coating material and is preferably precoated with the powder coating material to form a primer coating film and thereafter the surface of the primer coating film is subjected to regular coating with the powder coating material so as to attain a prescribed film thickness.
