METHOD OF FABRICATING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A method of fabricating a liquid crystal display is provided to form post spacers after an alignment film is coated and rubbed to prevent a fail caused by the post spacers. CONSTITUTION: A color filter substrate(20) is composed of color filter patterns(30), a black matrix(22) formed between neighboring color filter patterns and a common electrode(31) for applying voltage to liquid crystal cells. An alignment film(40) is formed on the common electrode. Then, the alignment film is rubbed. Post spacers(100) used for maintaining a cell gap are formed on the black matrix. The post spacers are formed of photoresist. The post spacers are formed in a manner that the photoresist is exposed and developed. An overcoat layer is formed on the color filter substrate, and then the alignment film is formed on the over coat layer.
