ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE PATTERN STRUCTURE OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: An electrostatic discharge pattern structure of a liquid crystal display panel is provided to reduce pixel defects and data open defects and to improve yield of the liquid crystal display panel. CONSTITUTION: A part of a repair line(22) is formed when a gate pattern is formed, and the remaining part of the repair line is formed when a data pattern is formed so as to finally form the repair line in a liquid crystal display panel. When the repair line is formed, a portion of the repair line is extended to form the first extension part(23). The first probing part(23a) is formed at the end of the extension part. A part of a common line(26) is extended to form the second extension part(27). The second probing part(27a) is formed at the end of the second extension part. The first and second probing parts face each other and have a distance between the two probing parts. An electrostatic discharge region(40) is formed according to the probing parts.
