PRODUCTION OF POLYESTER FIBER IMPROVED IN ADHESION

PURPOSE: A process of preparing a polyester fiber having excellent adhesion to rubber with a good spinning workability is provided. Whereby, inconvenience of frequently cleaning scraps on the surface of a godet roller or the roller is removed. CONSTITUTION: A spinning oil agent containing 5 to 10% by weight of an alcohol-based glycol compound or a polyglycol compound having two or more hydroxy groups is provided to the melt spun fiber, heat drawn and then treated with a functional oiling agent containing 60 to 80% by weight of epoxy and 60 to 80% by weight of glycol or polyglycol. Thus prepared fiber has an epoxy content of 0.050mol/100g to 0.120mol/100g.
