PURPOSE: A chemical composition for automobile front lower arm component and heat treatment method thereof is provided to improve elongation and high compact strength at low temperatures. CONSTITUTION: The heat treatment method includes the steps of heating a spheroidal graphite cast iron composition for fry lower arm comprising (total carbon, T.C) 3.7 wt.%, Si 2.8 wt.%, Mn 0.32 wt.%, P 0.03 wt.%, S 0.007 wt.%, Mg 0.045 wt.%. up to 90 0°C for 4 hours; holding the temperature for 2 hours; furnace cooling it for 8 hours followed by air-cooling.
