ARALIA ELATER HEALTH DRINK AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided are a health drink containing the extracts of Aralia elater and its preparation method. The health drink with the ingredients of the above extracts has medicinal effect while possessing excellent taste and flavors. The preparation method increases the quantity of the active ingredients and the yield of the extraction, making enhanced use of the raw materials. CONSTITUTION: The preparation comprises: the first step of pretreating the Aralia elater for processing the used plant parts selected from one of the group of the young sprouts, the leaves and the roots; the second step of extracting first the pretreated Aralia elater parts with 5-30 wt. times(based on the weight of the raw material) of the 30-70% ethanol at 85-100deg.C for 2-5 hours and extracting for the second time with 10-70wt. times of distilled water at 90-100deg.C for 3-7 hours after adding 3-10wt.% of liquorice and stevia to the above extract; the third step of filtering the first extracts and concentrating it to have 10-60% of the soluble solids; the forth step of filtering the second extracts and adding it to the above concentrate of the third step and extracting the mixture with distilled water to have the extracts with 0.1-0.7% soluble solids; and the fifth step of mixing 80-90wt.% of the extracts of the forth step with 1-5wt.% of more than one sour taste agents chosen from the extracts of mandarin orange, Schizandra, Acanthopanax, Japanese apricot., apple, grape and pear, 5-15wt.% of the sweetening agent and flavors and extracting the mixture.
