PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of precisely measuring a characteristic of a motor unit and reducing an opening end of a rack housing in diameter. SOLUTION: One end side (pinion shaft 17 side) of a motor shaft 18 is supported by a first bearing 21 provided between a motor housing 14 and the first rack housing 12. The other end side is constituted to be supported by the motor housing 14 by the second bearing 20.
