PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural fiber-containing plastic molded product that is prevented from giving off any unpleasant malodor and can be utilized for various applications. SOLUTION: The plastic molded product is produced by adding calcium oxide and/or calcium hydroxide to a mixture of at least one of a powdered material, a cotton-like material and a finely cut-off piece formed of a natural fiber having at least one of a hydroxyl group, an aldehyde group and a carboxyl group with a synthetic resin before or during heating the mixture for molding.
