PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long fiber reinforced resin pellet further enhanced in impact strength and a molded object higher in impact strength. SOLUTION: In the long fiber reinforced resin pellet with a total length of 2-100 mm comprising reinforcing fibers and a propylene polymer and characterized in that the reinforcing fibers are arranged mutually parallelly in length almost equal to the length of the pellet, the propylene polymer is a propylene/ ethylene block copolymer consisting of a propylene homopolymer part (A) and a propylene/ethylene copolymer part (B) and the content of the propylene/ ethylene copolymer part (B) in the propylene/ethylene block copolymer is 15-45 wt.%. The molded object is obtained by molding the long fiber reinforced resin pellet by injection molding, compression molding, injection compression molding, gas injection molding or foaming injection molding.
