PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonyl compound collecting material and a collector tube using it enabling easier and high-precision microanalysis of aldehyde compound without requiring any complicated operation. SOLUTION: In this carbonyl compound collecting material, a compound expressed with the following general chemical formula [where: R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group which may contain a substituent, an alkoxyl group which may contain a substituent or an aryl group which may contain a substituent; R6 and R7 independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group which may contain a substituent (however, excluding the case that all of R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are fluorine atoms and both R6 and R7 are hydrogen atoms).] is kept in a cation exchanger.
