PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an incinerator in which combustion efficiency is enhanced even if the number of combustion chambers is limited to one and the opening can be enlarged so that combustibles can be thrown in easily. SOLUTION: The incinerator comprises a combustion chamber 11 for combusting combustibles, e.g. waste woods, and an exhaust flue 12 communicating with the combustion chamber 11 and discharging exhaust gas therefrom. The combustion chamber 11 is formed tubularly, an closable opening 15 for throwing in combustibles is made on the upper front side of the combustion chamber 11, a conduction chamber 17 for introducing exhaust gas from the combustion chamber 11 to the exhaust flue 12 side and having a lower wall formed as a shelf part is projected from the upper rear side of the combustion chamber 11, and the central axis of the combustion chamber 11 is separated from the central axis of the exhaust flue 12. Furthermore, a stand 13 on which a worker can stand at the time of throwing in combustibles from the opening 15 is provided contiguously to the combustion chamber 11.
