PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary supporter used for cushioning and bearing an upper structure and used for installing a non-load type bearing device in which the vertical load of the upper structure is used under a non-load state at all times. SOLUTION: In the temporary supporter 3 for installing the load non-load type elastic bearing device used for temporarily supporting the load non-load type elastic bearing device 4, which does not load the load of the upper structure 1 such as a bridge girder made of concrete, under the state in which the level of the bearing device 4 is raised to an upper section from a lower structure 2 such as a pier or an abutment, the temporary supporter 3 receives vertical load from the fixed upper structure 1 and is constituted in a manner that it can be shortened.
