摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel boroleucite-based inorganic composition in which the coefficient of thermal expansion is suitably adjustable in accordance with uses and which can be sintered at a relatively low temperature. SOLUTION: The boroleucite-based inorganic composition charaterized in that it is denoted by a chemical composition formula a (CsxK1-x)2O.bB2O3.2SiO2 wherein a is in the range of 0.125<=a<=1.00, b is in the range of 0.125<=b<=0.75 and x is in the range of 0<x<1, and a substrate for an electronic circuit comprising this inorganic composition are provided. The inorganic composition has a degree of sintering of 60% and more, is obtained by being baked in the temperature range of 700-1,000 deg.C, has a coefficient of linear expansion of 35&times;10-7 to 280&times;10-7 (/ deg.C), has a dielectric constant of 4.0 to 9.3 and is a solid solution where a double end component is composed of a K boroluecite (K2aB2bSi2Oa+3b+4) and a Cs boroluecite (Cs2aB2bSi2Oa+3b+4).
