<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head wherein divided shell members are joined to each other through a proper amount of a welding material, while the members are being held so as to be spaced part a certain distance. SOLUTION: The golf club head is formed from at least two divided shell member (face member 2, head body 4) which are joined to each other. A joining part 2a is formed on the rear side perimeter of the face member. A plurality of void portion 2b, in each of which the thickness is cut off, are formed along the joined portion. The joining portion between the void portions are brought into contact with a joining portion 4a of the head body 4 to fill a welding material 12 into the void portions, thereby joining the divided members.</p> |
