<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-latching device composed of an annular wall 14 having a radial hole 15 for housing a ball 16 movable in the direction of the radius and a lock piston that axially slides between a releasing position and a lock position in the body of the device. SOLUTION: In the ball-latching device, a lock body 10 is inserted to a second hole 8 formed at the surface of a second component via a first hole 7 formed at the surface of a first component 55, the two holes are almost coaxially formed, a flange 12 is provided butting to the first component around the first hole by a spring-thrust element 18, the ball 16 is maintained in a state of partially protruding downward from the free face 82 of the second component while a piston is in the lock position, and a part of the ball angularly contacts with the trim 81 of the second hole 8 and the other part of the ball butts to the holding-side face 23 of a piston head 22 by an effect of an axial thrust applied to the ball by the lock body via a load imposed to the flange 12 by the spring-thrust element 18.</p> |
