PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landscape display device allowing a person to examine the landscape of a spot in advance before going thereto and see a scenic guide in any place according to the movement by allowing the display of an optional directional landscape in an optional place or the automatic search of the best landscape. SOLUTION: In this device, a mountain shape display function 8 displays the state of mountains seen from an optional position by use of map information 3 or the altitude information stored in a database 4. A mountain name and altitude display function 9, a wide area display function 10, a sky information display function 11 and a target display function 12 perform displays, respectively, to form scenes. An evaluation value calculating function 20 calculates the evaluation value of scenes formed for a plurality of present places to find out the best scenic spot by use of plural kinds of calculation methods for scene evaluation value varied depending on purposes. A section display function 21, an altitude gauge display machine 22 and a propagation track display function 24 have also the function of analyzing the propagating state of radio wave between two points. |
