PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method of a soft foam resin capable of satisfactorily cutting the soft foam resin without using a special machine tool or tool. SOLUTION: A machine tool having a static air pressure main spindle device 15 is used, a rotary tool 25 of a sharp edge mounted on the main spindle 22 of the static air pressure main spindle device 15 is rotated and driven at a high speed, and the soft foam resin is cut by an up-cut method.
