PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage tank device capable of preventing the variation of the composition of LNG. SOLUTION: The tank device comprises a storage tank 1 for storing LNG 5 and a pulse tube freezer 12. Vaporized gas stored in an upper space in the storage tank 1 is liquefied with the cold obtained by the pulse tube freezer 12, and after that, the liquefied gas is returned to the LNG 5 in the storage tank 1.
