PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve mounting structure, in which a mounting hole is formed in the head cover of an engine and a check valve is attached to the mounting hole, whereby it is possible to secure sealing performance of the mounting part and install the check valve in a prescribed position, even in case the mounting part has a poor dimensional accuracy or in case the head cover has a small plate thickness. SOLUTION: An elastic ring 24 is installed on the periphery of a valve- accommodating part 16, and at the peripheral surface of the ring 24, a plurality of elastic projections 24a to be put in pressure contact with the inner surface of the mounting hole 23a in the head cover 23 are formed protrusively at a certain appropriate spacing in the circumferential direction. In the upper part of the valve-accommodating part 16, a swell-out part 17 is provided as protruding sideways, and a seal part 24c made of an elastic material is provided on that surface of the swell-out part 17, which confronts the outer surface of the head cover 23.
