PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based luster coating material composition which totally improves the adhesion to put polyolefin based floor materials in perspective while maintaining all performances required for a floor polishing agent and is particularly strong against the influence by water and has excellent wear resistance and adhesion. SOLUTION: The water-based luster coating material composition comprises (a) an emulsion of a polyurethane containing no hydroxyl group in the molecule, (b) an emulsion of an acrylic polymer having a carboxyl group in the molecule and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -10 deg.C to +25 deg.C, (c) an emulsion of an acrylic polymer having a carboxyl group in the molecule and a Tg of higher than 25 deg.C, and (d) a polyvalent metal complex as the essential components.
