METHOD FOR PRODUCING 2-BENZYLANILINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially useful method for producing 2-benzylaniline, with which a manufacturing cost can be greatly reduced. SOLUTION: A 2-amino-5-halogenobenzophenone represented by general formula I is reacted under a reduction condition to produce 2-benzylaniline represented by formula II in one-pot synthesis.
