PURPOSE: An electrode paste for a plasma display panel rear plate is provided to improve printing and baking characteristic. CONSTITUTION: An electrode paste for a plasma display panel rear plate is made of silver power 49-85 wt% as main component for conduction, glass power 1-10 wt% for accelerating baking and enhancing interface adhesion between the rear plate and electrodes, and organic material 9-50 wt% for supporting the power. The silver power is formed as sphere, needle, plate or irregularity and has an average particle diameter of 0.5-17μm. The glass power is made of PbO 43-91wt%, SiO2 <= 21wt%, B2O3 <= 26wt%, Bi2O3 <= 25wt%, Al2O3 <= 7wt%, ZnO <= 20wt%, Na2O+K2O+Li2O <= 15wt%, or BaO+CaO+MgO+SrO <= 15wt%. Glass softening point is 320-520°C and thermal expansion coefficient is 62-110x10¬-7/°C. The organic material is made of binder 2-7wt%, solvent 4-35wt%, plasticizer 3-15wt%, derivative+dispersants+levelling agent <= 2.5wt%. |
