A tubular connection for use in bicycle frames consists of an inner tube (20) formed of composite material, an outer tube telescopically engaged with the inner tube (20), and an outer clamp. The outer tube includes a split (12) and the inner tube (20) has a recess or flat in radial alignment with the split (12) so that facing edges of the split (12) do not engage the recess or flat during tightening of the clamp. |
