PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in film characteristics in the case of producing a grain oriented electrical steel sheet using a stock containing assistant inhibitors. SOLUTION: The grain oriented electrical steel sheet is produced by using a silicon steel slab containing assistant inhibitors as well as the main inhibitor. In this case, as the assistant inhibitors, one or more kinds selected from Te, Tl, Bi, Sb, Pb and Li are contained by 0.0010 to 0.050 mass% in total. Further, as the main agent in a separation agent for annealing, magnesia is used. Also, as an additive, a compound generating gas by heating in the process of finish annealing is blended in the range satisfying the relation in the following inequalities (1), (2) and (3): Ts-100<=Tg<=Ts+200...(1), 100<=nDTg<=2500...(2), and 0.1<=D<=0.3...(3); wherein, Ts is the temperature (K) in which the vapor pressure of the assistant inhibitor constituting elements reaches 133Pa; Tg is the temperature (K) in which the additive generates gas, n is the addition amount (mol%) of the additive into the separation agent expressed in terms of the gas to be generated from the additive in the temperature range of (Ts-100) to (Ts+200); and D is the bulk density (g/ml) of magnesia as the main agent by the JIS-K 5101 method. |
