摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a glass ceramic substrate having extremely good dimensional accuracy and good surface conditions by surely constraining the sintering contraction of a glass ceramic green sheet laminated body. SOLUTION: This method comprises processes of making a laminated body by laminating multiple glass ceramic green sheets, laminating constraining green sheets containing flame-resistant inorganic materials and an organic binder by interposing adhesive material layers containing glass and a solvent on both sides of the laminated body, removing organic elements from the laminated body, then sintering the laminated body to make a glass ceramic substrate holding the constraining sheet, and removing the constraining sheet from the substrate while the glass content of the adhesive material layers is the quantity used to adhere the constraining green sheet to the glass ceramic green sheet during sintering and removed from the glass ceramic substrate together with the constraining sheet after sintering and glass powders in the glass ceramic green sheet have the average particle diameter of 0.5-8 &mu;m and the size distribution of (D90-D10)/D50<=6.
