PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing control device of an opening/closing body which can detect catching without delay even in a device which adjusts an operating speed of the opening/closing body to a target speed by a feedback control, and at the same time, detect the catching surely without confusing even when the target speed is decelerated. SOLUTION: A reference speed and a reference control voltage are calculated by obtaining at several places and then averaging a speed of a sliding door (a door speed) and a control voltage which is given to a motor so as to adjust the door speed to the target speed in a specified interval of a constant speed region just before entering a closing side accelerating/decelerating region during closing operation of the sliding door as the opening/closing body (S12). When the sliding door moves into the closing side accelerating/decelerating region, an estimated control voltage is calculated based on the reference speed and the reference control voltage according to the target speed at each position in the closing side accelerating/decelerating region (S14). The catching is judged when the control voltage becomes bigger than a threshold value in which a prescribed constant value α is added to this estimated control voltage (S15). The motor is inversely controlled when this catching is detected (S16).
