PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly install a leaf spring type sound-insulating plate latch 10 mounted in an opening between a sound-insulating plate 4 and one side face in a U-shaped sectional groove 3 in a sound-insulating wall 1 by simple works without using a heavy hammer or the like while forming the sound-insulating plate latch 10 in a structure difficult to damage. SOLUTION: The sound-insulating plate latch for the sound-insulating wall has the first vertical side section 12 extending in approximately the vertical direction, the second vertical side section 13, which is extended in approximately the vertical direction so that a horizontal distance with the first vertical side section 12 is increased towards the upper side and in which a lower end section is connected at the lower end section of the first vertical side section 12, an upper side section 17 connected at the upper end section of the second vertical side section 13, an engaging section 20 mounted on the second vertical side section 13 and freely engaged or disengaged with or from the upper side section and holes for engagement, in and from which the engaging section 20 can be inserted and detached, and has beads in the vicinity of the holes for engagement. The latch is constituted so that the horizontal distance between the upper end sections of the first and second vertical side sections 12 and 13 is smaller than the case of non-engagement when the engaging section 20 and the upper end section of the second vertical side section 13 are engaged.
