PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a peeling failure of a starting sheet, even when one vacuum adsorption pad out of several vacuum adsorption pads has brought about an adsorption failure. SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for peeling the starting sheet for electrolysis, which peels the starting sheet 3 from a base sheet 2, by adsorbing the starting sheet 3 gathered by electrolysis on the base sheet 2, with several vacuum adsorption pads 4, and by transferring these vacuum adsorption pads 4 to a direction of peeling the starting sheet 3, comprises connecting several venturi type ejectors 21 to a pressure air source 19 through a switching valve 20, and attaching the vacuum adsorption pads 4 to a suction port 23 of these venturi type ejectors 21.
