PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column support structure capable of reducing cost and weight by eliminating a damper and a reinforcement used for a conventional structure by improving the regidity of a steering column support member. SOLUTION: Closed cross-section parts 13 are respectively formed of an upper side panel 11 and a lower side panel 12 the circumferences of which are welded to each other on parts positioned on both sides in the car width direction of a steering column 4 out of the steering column support member 9 extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction from the steering column support member 10 on the steering column support structure to support a steering column device 1 by the steering column support member 9 by connecting the steering column support member 9 to the steering support member 10 arranged in the car width direction.
