PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a suspension that can improve both the stability and controllability of a vehicle and the riding comfort of an occupant by controlling an actuator for giving vertical force to a wheel, according to the travel state of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The control method for a suspension disposes one actuator for each of the right and left wheels of a vehicle, so that each of the right and left wheels can receive vertical force from the actuator. The control prioritizes riding comfort during straight-ahead travel, and prioritizes suppression of rolling during turning.
