PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a mold which enables manufacturing of the mold with ideal accuracy and high manufacturing efficiency. SOLUTION: After forming a ceramic layer 2 by thermally spraying ceramic to the surface of a base material 1 consisting of aluminum, the base material 1 is soaked into soluble solution 3 to be dissolved and flowed out so that the ceramic layer 2 is molded.
