PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide scissors for haircutting and beauty culture which prevent the increase of fatigue by making fingers smoothly movable with respect to ring holes through ring handles and prevent shaking of the ring handles. SOLUTION: A pair of blades continued with cutting edges in front of handle sections having the ring holes are turnably connected around pivots and the ring handles inscribe the ring holes. The ring handles are thinly formed of plastics and the thickness thereof is <=2.8 mm nearly constant over the entire circumference and the materials of the ring handles are engineering plastics, such as polyacetal, polyamide, resins, poolycarbonae or ABS, polyolefinic resins, such as ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene and other high-molecular-weight plastics or a fluororesin. The shape of at least one ring holes is a noncircular shape, such as an elliptic or oval shape.
