PURPOSE: A structure for protecting an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device of a washing machine from dampness is provided to protect the LCD by joining a spongy body to a rear surface of a display part and securing the LCD to a rear surface of the spongy body, wherein doping the joining part of the LCD and a printed circuit board with any waterproof agent becomes not necessary. CONSTITUTION: A structure for protecting an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device of a washing machine from dampness includes a display part(41) provided with various buttons and protruded from a side of a control panel(40) with a sectional shape of "L", an LCD device(10) secured to a rear surface of the display part, and a spongy body(20) provided between the display part and the LCD device for absorbing the dampness, wherein the spongy body is joined to a side surface(41a) which forms the rear surface of the display part and a folded surface(41b) extended from the side surface. |
