FORGERY PROOF SAFETY PAPER INSERTED BY MULTIFUNCTIONAL WATERMARK

摘要

PURPOSE: Forgery proof safety paper obtained by inserting a multifunctional watermark functioning as Braille dots and machine-readable elements into security paper is provided. Paper manufactured by this process is increased in bending and sagging of paper when piled up and also improved in printability and workability. CONSTITUTION: A multifunctional watermark is inserted with a thickness of 10 to 25 microns into the upper and lower blank at the opposite position of an inner watermark in a sheet of security paper, or 1 to 10 groups consisting of 3 to 7 watermarks are continuously disposed in a right and left blank as unprinted part of the safety paper and at the back face part of printing paper to produce forgery proof safety paper. The multifunctional watermark exhibits a specified pattern of a round shape or a polygon shape having a size of 3 to 10mm.
