PURPOSE: A structure of a tie rod of a vehicle steering device and a method for controlling the same are provided to block the shimmy vibration of a running vehicle by tie rods, thereby improving the vehicle driving property. CONSTITUTION: A structure of a tie rod of a vehicle steering device includes a rubber damper and a hydraulic piston, wherein the tie rod includes a first tie rod(10a) coupled with a tie rod end at a side with a predetermined coupling element, a second tie rod(10b) of which the other side is coupled with a steering gear, first and second pistons(11a,11b) provided to the first and second tie rods to be driven by the flow of an oil pressure, a center rod(12) inserted to the first and second tie rods, first and second hydraulic buffering parts(16a,16b) provided to predetermined positions of the first and second tie rods for buffering the oil pressure of the first and second pistons, and first and second actuators(17a,17b) provided to the hydraulic buffering parts to be driven by control signals for the supply or blocking of the oil pressure.
