PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of determining an output condition of a representation output, a device for aiding determination of an output condition and a representation output system suitable for the representation output using the above method and the above device wherein a preferable output condition can be readily and accurately derived without skill. SOLUTION: When an output from a first output device is represented by a second output device of which the setting of the output condition can be changed in order to represent the output on the other output device, the condition of the output to be represented is determined based on information relating to the output condition of the first output device and the output condition which can be outputted from the second output device. Particularly, information of a range in color representation is derived from the output condition information of the first output device and information of a range in color representation is derived from the information of the output condition which can be outputted from the second output device. After that, the output condition of the representation output is determined based on the first and second color representation range information.
