PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device reducing load during re-supplying paper to reduce electric power consumption, enhancing carriage quality, and facilitating disposal of long paper left in the device after stopping operation of the machine because of some trouble. SOLUTION: The image forming device according to the present invention is provided with S-shape reversal type automatic both-side copying device for A3 size or less, and a pair of driving and driven carrying rollers of a horizontal carrying part of the automatic both-side copying device can be set and released. A large-size paper copying device for copying long paper in twice is provided with a rotary reversal guiding part 35 leading from the inside of an automatic both-side tray 30 to a horizontal carrying part 31. A long-paper carrying means is also provided for guiding long paper to the inside of an endless carrying passage formed by the horizontal carrying part 31, a paper re-supplying part 33, a tray part and a reversal guiding part 35 when automatic both-side copying of long paper is selected. When the long-paper carrying means imposes restrictions with a side fence for the automatic both-side copying of long paper, the driven roller of the horizontal carrying part is released. |
