<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deinking agent exhibiting sufficient ink scavenging not only in ink under a normal operation condition but also in fine ink occurred by recycling of deteriorated waste paper and developing a high deinking effect. SOLUTION: This deinking agent comprises a reaction product obtained by adding two or more kinds of alkylene oxides essentially comprising propylene oxide to a mixture or an ester of (a) a polycarboxylic acid or its acid anhydride and (b) an alcohol, in a specific order.</p> |
