PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive coating material which is suitable for forming a coating film having high uniformity of resistance, low moisture dependence, and good release properties; a conductive roll having a surface layer formed from the coating material; and an electrophotographic apparatus. SOLUTION: A PTG-based or PTMEG-based urethane prepolymer having isocyanate groups at the molecular ends is reacted with an almost equimolar amount of an amino-group-containing silane coupling agent to give a silylated polymer. At least one electrolyte selected from among chlorides of Fe, In, and Cu is added to the resultant silylated compound to give a composition, which is dissolved in an organic solvent to give an ion-conductive coating material. If necessary, an organopolysiloxane is added in order to enhance the functions of a coating film. |
