METHOD AND DEVICE OF MANUFACTURING NEWSPAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing newspaper including signatures formed of printed sheet folded at the center, and a device for performing the method. SOLUTION: The following steps are included: a) forming a sheet stack 2 by feeding individual sheets 1 consecutively printed to a first collecting station 10, and stacking and vertically arranging the sheets assigned to a common signature; b) carrying the completed sheet stack 2 away from the first collecting station 10 and feeding the first sheet 1 of another signature to the first collection station 10; c) folding the sheet stack 2 to form a signature; d) putting the signature on signatures already stacked on a second collecting station 12; and e) repeating the steps from a) to d) until all the signatures of newspaper are arranged completely.
