PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure sufficient durability and reliability of a laminated rubber pivotally supporting body by preventing an excessive tension from acting on a laminated rubber part even if an extraction force acts on the laminated rubber pivotally supporting body when an abnormality such as the inclination of a building by an earthquake occurs to eliminate such an inconvenience that a space is produced in a rubber layer inside the laminated rubber pivotally supporting body and rigidity is lowered suddenly. SOLUTION: In this laminated rubber pivotally supporting body 10, flange members 13 and 14 are fixedly stuck on the upper and lower sides of the laminated rubber part 15 formed of rubber layers 11 and reinforcement plates 12 laminated to form integrally with each other. Thin wall parts 19 and 20 or opening parts 21 and 22 to lower the bending rigidity of the flange members are formed in the extended portions of the flange members 13 arid 14 (portions between the outer periphery of the laminated rubber part and the fixing part thereof to a structural member). |
